Chuck Wilson - 2011 Rally Championship Chase Begins

The 2011 Performance Rally Championship starts this Weekend. Desert Storm is first race of the year, a grueling 3-day and night event in the California and Nevada Desert.

Owner-Driver Chuck Wilson and team Old Dirty Racing took second place last year in the California Rally Series Group 2 and first place Group 5 in 2008. "This is a new year and new start for the team. We have two cars - Ford Escort GT's ready to compete. Anything less then another championship year will be a let down."

Rally Racer George Doganis Receives Prestigious BILSTEIN Award

BILSTEIN Shock Absorbers is pleased to announce that California-based rally racer George Doganis is the recipient of the Madonna Award for Racing Excellence for his racing accomplishments in 2010. An active participant in the SouthWest RallyCup Series, Doganis captured the overall championship in the inaugural year of the BILSTEIN Cup Class in his 1997 Honda Civic. The presentation of the prestigious award took place at the annual SouthWest RallyCup Series awards banquet in January.
