Car 433 Williams/Hakala Win Both Regionals at Rally Colorad
(Steamboat Springs , Co.) Round eight of the Rally America National Championship. This two day National /Regional event will cover nearly 110 stage miles in and around the resort community of Steamboat Springs, just a short drive west into the mountains from Denver.
The final series events for the season were spectacular in form with over 9 entrees in the regionals of Rally Colorado. They were battling it out to the end for their prospective titles.
Middle Cog 1 Regional Rally Provisional
The finishers for the Middle Cog 1 Regional Rally are as follows:
Overall and Open: Williams/Hakala 1:01:13.6
Group 2: Freehill/McGuire 1:03:14.8
2nd Open: Rose/Vitera 1:03:14.8
2nd Group 2: Keeney/Keeney 1:04:59.2
Production GT: Mennig/Schnell 1:07:57.2
The finishers in the Middle Cog 2 Regional Rally Results are as follows:
Overall and Open Winner: Car 433 Williams/Hakala 26:21.0
Group 2 Winner: Freehill/McGuire 26:45.7
2nd Group 2: Car 418 Keeney/Keeney 29:02.9
3rd Group 3: Car 319 Greenhouse/Marsh 29:23.9
Production GT Winner: Car 486 Mennig/Schnell 29:53.7

After 2 previous failed attempt to finish here at the Middle Cog 1 and 2 regional events in previous years, Williams/Hakala have come away victorious in both the Middle Cog 1 and Middle Cog 2 Regional Rallies.
Williams/Hakala managed to keep the car in one piece, despite wet and sloppy conditions.
